DOXA Insurance Acquires Assets of Pro Liability Group, LLC

The healthcare liability program manager will join Promont Insurance Advisors

 

Promont Insurance Advisors (Promont) today announces the acquisition of the assets of Pro Liability Group, LLC (Pro Liability), an allied underwriting program manager for healthcare liability. Pro Liability will join Promont Insurance Advisors, a DOXA Insurance company and full-service insurance underwriter managing in difficult risks including churches, schools, skilled nursing facilities and allied health.

 

Founded in 2012 by Linda Morse, Pro Liability has been a partner in the healthcare liability marketplace, bringing value to producers for more than a decade. Dedicated to relationship-building and a consistent reputation for delivering upon commitments, Morse and Pro Liability have built an allied healthcare book of business with small facilities and individuals that is now part of the DOXA/Promont group.

With this acquisition, Greg Morris, president of Promont will assume management of the Pro Liability team. Morse will assume the role of senior vice president – DOXA Healthcare on the Promont side, reporting directly into Morris. DOXA, Promont’s parent company, will assist with the integration and provide back-office resources, allowing the larger team of underwriters to focus on their primary roles. The expanded underwriting team will continue to grow in the allied healthcare space.

 

The transaction closed on August 30, 2024.
